It is Wednesday, leaving tomorrow. A teammate says, "hey, can you bring some US coins for a jukebox my dad has?" I say sure, and it is another 2 pounds. lol . I hope my scale doesn't break when I do a test weigh-in tonight.
We tested Skype this past weekend when I was at my soccer referee academy and the video worked, but the microphone in my computer is apparently broken. I will be bringing a headset with a mic.
I started the malaria pills last night. Have to take one per day until we are back. Had no negative reaction so that is good.
At work, everyone is supportive and everything is delegated. My team is very competent and hopefully all will go well and my boss doesn't fire me while I am gone. As a sales leader, leaving during the last month of a quarter is usually not the brightest move.
I am looking forward to the 24 hours of flight time to get to Dar in Tanzania!
What an amazing opportunity! Tanzania will never be the same :) Best of luck and we'll see you in April!
